Position: Commodity Manager - Paper, adhesives, chemicals (NL/BE)

PROCUREMENTNETWORK is specialist in Executive Search and Interim Consultancy in Procurement and Supply Chain.

Currently we have an interesting vacancy for a Commodity Manager, specialised
in procurement of paper, adhesives and/or chemicals, based in The Netherlands or Belgium at a leading multinational manufacturer.

The organisation
Our client is a world leading manufacturer in the FMCG market. For their facilities
in The Netherlands and Belgium we are searching for experienced Commodity managers with the ambition to professionalise the global sourcing strategy of a multionational company.

Your Tasks and Mission
You will manage Large global procurement projects to achieve synergy between all European and other Global business units,
You will perform Procurement Analysis and Report achievements to the CPO,
You will advise and/or manage the Strategic Procurement department,
You will become responsible for the complete global procurement package of: paper, adhesives and chemicals for all manufacturing plants,
You will co-operate closely with production and engineering departments of
global manufacturing facilities to meet the highest possible Service Levels,
You will be accountable for initiating new cost cutting projects and you will be
the initiator for several senior commodity buyers.

Your Profile
You are a Procurement manager with six to eight years management experience,
You are familiar with the fmcg industry,
You have at least six years senior procurement experience in the market for
paper, adhesives or chemicals,
You have completed a University, MBA (or HBO) education or similar,
You have a strong ability to negotiate and experience with sourcing on a
global level,
You are communicative and skilled to promote team work,
You are organised, open minded, listening to others and capable of driving
several purchasing projects simultaneously,
You have strong analytical and reporting capacities,
You are fluent in Dutch, English, German and French,
Knowlegde of Chinese or other languages in the Far East is an advantage.
